BP reset on stock 2.4 E2

Assuming the BP resets it probably wants to redo the handshake (for
which the power button has to be pressed).
I think one of the interrupt handlers involved in the handshake process
removes itself after the handshake completes the first time so that
might be two things preventing the BP from reinitializing itself.
